How often should I do yoga to my results?

 

Depending on our consistency we will get the expected results and the progress we want. We need to consistently follow our practice to quickly feel the effects and benefits promised by yoga. However everyone may adapt one’s practice according to one’s needs and circumstances. For most people it may be enough and more appropriate one or two times a week at a yoga center. The ideal is to practice every day at the same time six days a week. In a traditional way the yoga practice (Sadhana) is done before sunrise. Oddly as it may seem at this time, before sunrise, the body is loose and practice is easier. No need to worry about keeping up to the absolute standards. We live in different environments and face different circumstances. The important thing is to stabilize a realistic practice without hurry. It is a good idea to practice at a definite time when it suits us, perhaps before work, or else before bedtime. Practice should rely on realistic expectations, schedules and programs. If we set goals too high it is most likely that we will abandon them. It's good to keep in touch with a center or a yoga teacher. This will enhance your personal practice (Sadhana).
