QUIET SLEEP and ALERTNESS

Tension and anxiety we feel during the day continue during the night in our sleep.As a result we do not rest and we have a restless sleep. We do not make up for the energy we need in order to function correctly and efficiently in the next day. Especially now that modern conditions require from us to be always alert. Yoga removes the tension of day and night. With yoga this may be changed and we can get deep and peaceful sleep that will refresh us and so we will be able to meet the demands of everyday life. Generally one of the many benefits of yoga is that it gives us better and deep sleep. Particularly beneficial is the relaxation of yoga. It removes tension from both body and mind however intense the stress. There is the phenomenon that some have not learned to really ever relax. That simply varies in intensity. They may not be able to relax enough in order to reach the state of total relaxation and sleep for a few minutes. During a guided relaxation it may not be right for someone to sleep but it happens. The feeling of revival that comes with this irregular sleep is priceless. I hope you are not going to sleep because I myself am going to guide the sessions of relaxation and self-hypnosis. The entire yoga practice may favor quiet sleep, but in order to get faster results we have relaxation - self-hypnosis "QUIET SLEEP" and special techniques of yoga. Especially for the yoga techniques as in breathing we have been informed that besides helping with anxiety attacks during the day in a life-saving way, the same help continues also during sleep. Here is a proof that the techniques of yoga are helpful in dealing with anxiety attacks and stress in a general way no matter how intense.
